One of Frank Vickery's funniest comedies. With chaos, miscasts, and endless laughs! Granny Annie follows a disastrous attempt to stage Annie, where mishaps steal the spotlight in this side-splitting comedy!
Please be aware that The Borough Theatre will no longer accept Theatre Tokens as payment from 25 April 2025.The Borough Theatre is a lively venue situated right in the centre of the historic market town of Abergavenny, the traditional Gateway to Wales, presenting a year-round programme of professional and community productions. Our auditorium has 275 seats between the Circle balcony, two side boxes and a raked stalls area. The recently refurbished intimate auditorium has excellent sightlines and acoustics, which succeeds in blending historic and traditional features with a modern ambience. We are very proud of the fact that many headline artistes from the UK and overseas visit the Borough Theatre (going back to The Beatles in 1963…) as well as some of the most interesting new companies creating theatre and dance. We present theatre, comedy, classical music, dance, drama and literary talks alongside folk, light entertainment, and tribute acts as we endeavour to cater to a wide range of tastes as well as taking time to develop new ones. Our programme aims to appeal to all tastes and ages – with shows for everyone from pre-school years upwards.Owned, managed, and funded by Monmouthshire County Council through its MonLife Heritage, Leisure, youth and arts division.
